What is the best piece of self-care advice you’ve received?
Take care of yourself first, always. Healthy mom equals healthy children & a healthy household.

 

What does balance look like to you?
Glam one day & no shower the next. The perfect balance in motherhood.

 

Where was the last place you felt true bliss?
In our California king bed, as a family of four. My husband & I decided to let the kids stay up past their bedtime and brought them up to our bed for a movie night. As I looked over to see the family we created, I felt complete & overwhelmed with joy. As cheesy as it sounds, I definitely had happy tears.

 

What is your current state of mind?
Autopilot. Most days I wake up, get few things done, look at the time and it’s already time to make dinner!

 

What do you most admire in yourself?
The patience I have for my children. Let's be honest, shouldn’t all moms be proud of this? Our children take ‘pushing the button’ to a whole another level!

 

What’s the biggest lesson motherhood has taught you?
Never judge other parents. I’ve had a few times where I judged others & said: “I would never _____” then end up doing the same thing! Is it karma? Maybe. But I definitely learned that we’re all just trying to do our best for our family and taking things one day at a time. 

 

What is something that you wear well?
Motherhood! I mean, who knew I’d be so amazing at it? Also, it made me so much more confident. Say hello to my tigers' stripes that I earned!
